The Nare has just acquired a new, classic Morgan sports car for guests to hire during their stay. The Morgan complements the hotel’s chauffeur vehicles in offering guests an easy way to access a variety of excursions across Cornwall, hop from fishing village to beach on the Roseland Peninsula, or simply take in the breath-taking scenic drives further afield.
In July and August The Nare will be running morning workshops three times a week and daily film screenings each afternoon. On Mondays, meet and handle several birds of prey. On Wednesdays, join The Nare's Artist-in-Residence for a sketch or painting workshop. On Fridays, join one of The Nare's in-house team to learn how to bake the perfect Nare scone and shortbread.
The Nare Agave Amerciana plant is flowering for the first time in 25 years. Over the next few months the Agave, commonly known as the Century Plant, will produce a shoot that will grow to over twenty feet tall, that flowers in a rosette formation. Track its progress each week by keeping up to date with our Agave journal.
The Nare's trusted rambler, Simon Hammond, is offering Nare guests' the opportunity to explore stunning coastal walks that lie further-a-field than one would ordinarily venture. Walks include wonderful coastal or river views, the South West Coast Path and approved gastro pubs or eateries for the necessary lunch stop. Walks are tailored to suit one's requirement, with options for shorter or all-day walks. Bespoke guided walks are available from April until November.
To Snare A Spy is a short spy thriller written by acclaimed spy fiction author, and friend of The Nare, Jon Stock. The story is set during Noah's annual holiday at The Nare and features many of the hotel's long-term staff as well as locations across the Roseland Peninsula - a great poolside read for all the family.
