There are a few other activities nearby the hotel that are available to guests
Sea Fishing
The Nare can arrange for two and three hour mackerel fishing trips for guests from St Mawes harbour. Half and full day chartered trips are also available.
Set sail with friendly, local skipper James Brown, a former commercial fisherman with more than 20 years' experience, onboard the Madeline Rose, his traditional fishing boat. All equipment is provided. Please contact the Reservations Team to find out more about arranging a sea fishing trip during your stay at The Nare.
Sea Kayaking
The hotel owns a number of kayaks that are available for guest use on Carne Beach.
These can be taken down to the beach on request. Life jackets can be provided in various sizes.
Shooting
The Nare is fortunate to be situated close to some of the best shooting in Cornwall. Toby Ashworth, the hotel proprietor, has great contacts, a good local knowledge and considerable experience in organising successful shoots. During the season, The Nare can set up bespoke days for a shooting party to meet the necessary requirements. Not all members of your party need to shoot, as there is plenty for everyone to enjoy at the hotel.
