Residents' Daily Afternoon Cream Tea is a special tradition
Afternoon Tea is a long-standing tradition at The Nare. Residents' Afternoon Tea is served in the Sitting Room and Drawing Room from 4 o'clock each day. There are warm scones, a choice of local jams, and of course, lashings of Cornish clotted cream.
A cake is also baked each day and homemade shortbread is always available. There is a wide range of different tea to choose from, all of which are sourced from the local Tregothnan Estate - the home of English tea.
In the summer Afternoon Tea spills out onto the cocktail bar terrace overlooking the gardens, making the most of the sea views. In the winter the log fires ensure you enjoy the sea view from the comfort of your armchair.
A comprehensive afternoon tea menu is also served between 3:00pm and 5:00pm on The Quarterdeck, which is open to non-residents.
