Dining Arrangements
Exquisite British cuisine and fine wines are served in both of The Nare's sea-view restaurants.
Breakfast is available in both restaurants, on The Quarterdeck terrace or in your room. Lunch is served in The Quarterdeck as the Dining Room is closed during the day. In the evening there is the opportunity to dine in both restaurants during your stay.
The Dining Room
The Dining Room has magnificent sea views on three sides. In the evening there is a traditional five course table d’hôte menu which changes each night and fabulous hors d'oeuvres and puddings trolleys. Dinner is served from 6.30pm until 9.30pm.

The Quarterdeck Restaurant
The Quarterdeck has its own stunning sea views provided by floor to ceiling windows whilst al fresco dining can be enjoyed on its sheltered terrace. The lunch menu is available between 12.00pm and 2.00pm and dinner is served between 6.30pm and 9.30pm.

Children's Dining
Children under 7 usually dine on The Quarterdeck for Children’s Early Supper between 5.30pm - 6.30pm as they are not expected in the Dining Room for dinner.

Family Dining
For older children that would like to dine with their parents, Family Dining is available between 6.00pm - 7.00pm on The Quarterdeck or from a modified menu in the Dining Room between 6.30pm - 7.30pm.

Breakfast
Continental and full English breakfasts are served from 8.00am – 10.00am in the Dining Room. During the summer months breakfast is also available on The Quarterdeck terrace. Breakfast may also be served in your room on request for a small charge.

Lunch
The terrace lunch menu is available from noon on The Quarterdeck. The menu includes sandwiches, soup, salads, seafood specials and other main dishes. It is advisable to make a reservation between July and September.

Bespoke Menus
The kitchen is able to tailor dishes from the menus to cater for most dietary requirements. Where necessary they can provide bespoke menus. It is helpful to be made aware of any dietary requirements in advance.

Celebrations
George can help you to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion. He can arrange for bespoke cakes to be made by the pastry chefs or have Champagne, flowers or specialist wines at the ready.

Picnics
George can arrange a picnic for you to enjoy on the beach, coastal path or on a day visit. There is a choice of bread and fillings and extra items such as fruit, yoghurts, cakes and a selection of drinks. Rucksacks are also available to borrow if required.
