The Nare has an extensive range of leisure facilities for all ages and seasons. There are heated outdoor and indoor swimming pools, an outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam room, tennis court, and library. There are also bespoke leisure activities that you may wish to arrange during your stay as shown below. Alice Rose - Private Charter

Private charters are bespoke and can accommodate guests’ preferred routes. For lunch, the vessel is anchored in a quiet cove and a delicious picnic served on board. Private charters start from £550.00 per day and include lunch and return transfers.

Walking

The Nare is situated on the South West Coast Path which offers instant access to some of Cornwall’s most beautiful walks. Walk east towards Portloe along dramatic scenic cliffs or amble west towards Portscatho and St Anthony’s Head over flatter terrain.

Tennis

The tennis court sits in the hotel's gardens with stunning views over Carne beach and out to sea. Knock a ball around as a family or enjoy a far more competitive session on this all-weather En Tous Cas court (open all year).

Sea Fishing

George can arrange two hour mackerel fishing trips from St Mawes harbour. Half and full day charters are also available. Set sail with friendly local skipper James Brown, onboard histraditional fishing boat, Madeline Rose. All equipment is provided.
