Cornish Garden Cocktail

This refreshing summer cocktail has been inspired by two Cornish gardens close to The Nare

THE BACKGROUND:

Tregothnan has been part of Lord Falmouth’s estate since 1334. It is the largest private botanical garden in Britain with many rare plants and noted for its camellias. It is considered the home of English tea production. The estate also produces Cornish Manuka honey and rare Kea plum jam.

Trewithen is one of the largest privately owned estates in Cornwall owned by the Galsworthy family. The present incumbent, Sam Galsworthy, co-founded Sipsmith Gin in 2009 forming London’s first traditional copper distillery since 1820. This quintessential expression of a classic, traditional London Dry Gin, comes from a highly regarded brand.
