Carne Bay Spa

The Carne Bay Spa is The Nare's luxury spa facility. Located in a quiet corner of the hotel here you will find a salon with a calming treatment room and a full menu of treatments designed to relax, destress and help you shake off the cares of the world. Spoil yourself with a massage, pamper yourself with a manicure or just let us do your hair for the evening.

Anne O'Grady,  our resident therapist has been at The Nare since 2005 and has gathered a wealth of experience working as a therapist all around the world. She is a qualified therapist and has an all round calming personality. Anne is also training to be a hairdresser and is able to offer guests wash and blow drys and shampoo and sets. However, she is currently on maternity leave looking after their very recent new arrival, Liam.

In her absence we are pleased to welcome three very experienced complementary therapists, each of them with their own Signature Treatments. The Nare is pleased to introduce them in their own words....

Jill Trudgeon
"I was born to the sound of the waves crashing on a Cornish beach and grew up with an affinity to the sea and our beautiful coastline. I feel that a strong healing energy surrounds us here. Many people have told me when I'm working that I have powerful healing hands...maybe that is my gift from nature"

Sarah Greenhalgh
All my life I have had fabulous opportunities to follow my heart and utilize my enthusiasm for complementary therapies. Growing up in a medical family I learnt how the mechanics of the body sustain life. In my teens I realized the value of massage in reducing the stresses and strains of everyday life. For 17 years I have had the fortune to show clients how to utilize their innate power of healing through complementary therapies either as their practitioner or teacher.

Sarah Quintrell

The Carne Bay Spa is open to non-residents and special packages are available which enable non-residents to use the hotel's fabulous facilities and enjoy a treatment in the Spa.
