Art Breaks at The Nare

Art is ever present at The Nare with a fantastic selection of twentieth century art works lining the walls, and the hotel having its own Artist in Residence.  Jeanni is able to offer art courses to guests, either individually or in groups, from anything as little as a two hour taster to daily lessons during your stay and you do not have to be part of an Art Break to exercise your talents!

Jeanni is an energetic, enthusiastic, innovative freelance artist and graduate teacher who believes everyone can paint or sketch if shown how. Her passion for art is infectious and her lessons are always popular.

Combine your stay with a visit to one, or a few, of Cornwall's many art galleries, such as The Lemon Street Gallery in Truro, the Tate at St Ives, and Veryan Galleries in the local village, situated between two of the famous "round houses" and displaying art from predominantly Cornish artists.

Prices start from £270.00 per room, per night in a Country View room, in Low Season, inclusive of full English breakfast, afternoon Cornish cream tea, and VAT @ 20%. Sea-view rooms and suites are available. Please ask for details.


Guests have a choice of where to dine. The Table D'hôte menu, which changes daily, is served in the more formal Dining Room from £49.50 per person. Alternatively an Á La Carte menu is served on The Quarterdeck, which has a more relaxed style.
